How to Prepare Spoken Task?
A spoken task is a key to learning any language. When we learn any language at that time if we are endeavoring to make that habit of speaking for daily life then we would have to practice that language by speaking. For speaking, we have to select some topics or something to speak which is called Spoken Task.
If we are learning English speaking at any institute then that institute surely provides many tasks for speaking, and we have to perform on stage and in front of many learners because it builds our confidence. It helps in learning any language fast.
So Dear Friends here I want to share some important notes or points for preparing spoken tasks easily and effectively.
1. Greet everyone :
Great everyone is the best way to start any speech, spoken task, and story. It makes the audience connected to the speaker/orator.
2. Understand Topics :
When we get any topic, we should know the topic once then we should prepare that very well before speaking. Because when we perform well it gives us confidence for the next spoken task. If you don't know about your task then how will you speak and what will you speak? You may prepare by yourself and you may prepare by taking help from your teacher, friend, and google.
3. Don't Parrotize topics from Google, Don't Translate Your Topic from Google :
Parrotizing something means you are not understanding the topic you are only reading like reading- a newspaper. We know friends, Google is for information. It helps us understand something. It doesn't say you to mug up the things. Budding learners generally do translate sentences from Google then they deliver that but by doing this they seem robot and unrealistic. So we must not do this in learning, we can search for getting information, observation, and awareness. because without understanding we can't learn and perform something.
4. Write your task before Performing :
Writing is the most important part of learning. If you would think how? Usually, we say that we should speak something before thinking. In such a way a learner should write before he speaks.
Whenever we write something, we can keep it in mind durationally. And we can speak confidentially. While writing we have to think about many things, sometimes we follow the mnemonic pattern. It aids effectively.
5. Don't use the unnecessary word:
Generally, students choose unnecessary and hard vocabulary, because they want to perform well, other hand side they want to impress their friends and audience. Sometimes they use unnecessary and effective vocals to flaunt.
We shouldn't do this because if we would do this, then we would not learn properly and would not be able to speak the correct word at the correct place of a sentence.
6. Perform with Steps :
We should perform something step by step. Suppose we are telling a story and we are not telling that in steps, so we can not be able to make the audience aware of the story. For that, we can use Cue-cards means we can make short notes and hint to recall the story or topic while delivering that.
7. Make a Video of yourself :
These amazing 7 points or tips will keep helping every budding learner, because if a learner would know about the steps of learning then it would be great for him to get command of any language.
